DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
We do require appointments on the weekends so we can provide you with our undivided attention. We do our best to accommodate walk-ins during the week, but if we are with another client, please be patient with us. Our dressing rooms are limited and we pride ourselves in private consultations.
HOW LONG ARE APPOINTMENTS?
Our bridal appointments are 90 minutes. We want to give you plenty of time to browse our collection and try on your favorites.
Our return brides would be scheduled for a 60 minute appointment.
Pick up appointments are 15 minutes.
CAN I BOOK BACK TO BACK BRIDAL AND BRIDESMAIDS APPOINTMENTS?
We strongly recommend that you make separate appointments. Bridal appointments can be emotional and require making quite a few decisions. If your schedule allows, try to schedule separate appointments so that you can get the most out of each appointment.
WHEN SHOULD I BEGIN DRESS SHOPPING?
We recommend that you begin shopping 8-12 months before the big day.
WHEN DO I NEED TO ORDER MY DRESSES?
For a Stress-free bridal order, we recommend 9-12 months prior to the wedding date to ensure time for alterations. However, we happily work with brides on a tighter timeline.
Bridesmaids 7-9 months prior to the wedding. In the event that you need something sooner than regular delivery most of our designers have rush shipping options available.
WHEN I “Say Yes To The Dress” Do I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT IN FULL?
No. We require a 50% down payment at the time your gown is ordered with the remaining balance due upon arrival of your gown in our store.
WHAT IS YOUR PRICE RANGE OF DRESSES?
For bridal gowns - We have hand-selected many of our gowns with our average price between $1000-$1600.
For bridesmaids dresses - our dresses start at $120 and can go up to $250 depending on designer. Our average price point is $150-$180.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE LARGE GROUPS?
Weekday appointments work best for larger groups. When you schedule your appointment, let us know how many people will be joining you. We recommend bringing 2-3 of your closest family/friends as this will help keep the focus on the bride and allow for comfortable seating for your party. Please note that because the sample gowns do not always fit our customers properly when trying them on, we are unable to allow men in the fitting room area. We have a comfortable seating area in the front of our store for those special men in your life that you bring along.
HOW DO I RENT A TUXEDO?
Visit us at Ashlee's, we will help you browse, select, and create your preferred style using our fabric swatches to match your wedding colors perfectly. Your party will then need to be professionally fitted. The week of the wedding all you have to do is visit the store on your scheduled pick-up day for a final fitting. We'll make any necessary adjustments... Look terrific in your tuxedo and enjoy your event!... Return your tuxedo the next business day.
HOW DO I GET MEASURED?
Our staff is professionally trained to measure for a proper fitting tuxedo. If Valerie's is not close, a professional tailor or menswear shop is certainly a good alternative. (Please be aware that some retailers may charge a small fee for measurement services). We do need everyone's measurements at least 4 to 6 weeks prior to your formal affair.
ESSENTIAL TIPS FOR SUCCESS:
* Do not try to take measurements yourself! An inaccurate measurement that may be off by only an inch may get you a tuxedo coat that's one or two sizes too big or small. For the best fit, it is imperative that an experienced professional take your measurements.
*Current measurements are the most accurate! Even though a gentleman may have been measured for a tuxedo recently, measurements can and do change. It's wise to be measured again.
